DESIGN JOURNEY
Rebecca started her design journey at Belize Center for Training & Development (BCTD), developing promotional materials while managing their social media. This is where her passion for storytelling and typography layout grew. It eventually led her into pursuing a bachelor’s in art with a minor in Advertising and promotion at Valdosta State University.
After graduation, Rebecca began working at M+A Matting. Here, she mastered design modification techniques—entailing recreating client‑supplied artwork to precisely fit on the different mat products offered. She also learned how to manipulate industrial printers to achieve the exact colors specified by clients, ensuring consistent brand fidelity.
Her ability to adapt designs for both printed graphics and various branding products demonstrates her understanding of visual communication and technical precision.
